In terms of grass roots youth football we are a giant, but rely on a handful of committee members, parental coaches and community spirit to keep alive.
Our youngest players are the Under 5/6 age groups who participate in training sessions on Saturday mornings. This is run by our only paid coach, this is to keep the continuity and to provide the best start in terms of early development.
Under 7s - 12s
The U7s - U12s participate in the South Bucks Mini Soccer Conference, which provides mini soccer matches in a non-competitive enviroment. The smaller pitches and more relaxed enviroment makes the perfect start for young footballers. The players start with 5-a-side matches and progress through 7-a-side and then 9-a-side before moving on to competitive football. For more information about mini-soccer leagues, visit: http://www.bucksfootball.co.uk
Under 13s - 16s
From U13 to U16, teams participate in the Wycombe & South Bucks Minor Football League. This is competitive 11-a-side football played with traditional rules, but match duration reduced. Teams entering this league also play in both local and county cup competitions. Our 11-a-side teams play in the Wycombe and South Bucks Minor Football League. For Information about junior 11-a-side Sunday Leagues and Cups in Bucks, visit the Wycombe and South Bucks Minor Football League website.
Our girls team participate in the Berkshire County Girls Football League where games are played on a saturday with training midweek. We’re committed to girls football and are actively recruiting younger players to form new teams through our Introduction To Football sessions. For more details email: email@example.com
We have also initiated our first women's team and are open to all new players.
Our inclusive division is the 2nd largest in the country and participates in the BOBI league.
All of the ages are reliant on Dads, mums, or those willing to give back to football. Our volunteers are very important to us and we are always welcoming those with the spark to help.
Those players continuing their football with us progress to play U18 football in either the Allied Counties League or South Bucks Youth League.
As one of the largest clubs in the local area, Marlow Youth runs more than one team in each age group. These teams are known as Marlow Youth, Marlow Royals & Marlow Town & Marlow Oaks.
